MMCO Announces Asher Werthan as new Chair, Board of Trustees

Minds Matter Colorado is a proud 98% volunteer-run organization, so our program and students benefit from amazing volunteer Board leadership. We are grateful to Bijal Choksi for her leadership as our Board of Trustees Chair from 2019-2023. Thank you, Bijal!

While Bijal will continue to serve as a Trustee for the organization, we are delighted to congratulate and thank Asher Werthan for taking on the Board of Trustees Chair responsibilities. Asher has been a leader in our community for a number of years and we know his energy and great questions will be so helpful to the Minds Matter program and community. Thank you, Asher!

More about Asher:

Asher was born in Denver and grew up in Evergreen, CO. He graduated from Evergreen High School in 2002 and moved to Los Angeles to attend USC. Except for brief interludes in Argentina (2008) and Italy/France (2015), Asher lived and worked in Los Angeles until late 2016, when he and his wife Tessa moved to Denver. They have three children.

Asher serves as Chief Investment Officer and CFO at Continuum Partners, LLC, a Denver-based real estate development and investment management company and a national leader in large-scale, mixed-use projects. Continuum’s projects are noted for their enduring, high-quality urban design and commitment to sustainability and thriving human habitat.

Prior to Continuum, Asher was Managing Partner of Estes Capital, a commercial real estate investment advisory firm and also spent nearly twelve years at Platinum Equity, an operations-focused private equity firm with a global, multi-industry portfolio.

Asher believes that education provides the most effective foundation for social and economic mobility, which has broad implications for improving lives and elevating the trajectory of our community.
